Jack Van Johnson
Sept. 4, 2010 Jack Van Johnson, 68, of Laie and Logan, Utah, a retired Brigham Young University-Hawaii teacher and administrator, died in Salt Lake City. He was born in Preston, Idaho. He is survived by wife Cassandra; sons Van and Wesley; daughters Leilani Johnston, Rebecca Akita, Holly Meyer, Cassandra Miller and Rose Bradfield; brothers Cliff and Charlie; sisters Madge Porter and Lou Blanchard; and 24 grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie Hawaii Stake Center. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: noon at Laie Cemetery.
