Chizue Kodera, 87, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Hospital housekeeper, died in Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was born in Kurtistown, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Ted, Glenn and Dennis; daughters Shirly Takahashi and Sandra Kaneo; brother Roy Hayashi; sister Itoe Miyazono; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
