72Manuel James Branco, 81, of Hilo, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. crane operator, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kalopa, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Barbara and Susan Clark; brothers Clarence and Albert; sisters Virginia Dooley, Gladys Heu and Stella Regidor; and numerous grandchildren. Graveside services: noon Friday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
