GEORGE J. KILA, SR.
Age 68, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away September 12, 2010 in Mililani. Born October 13, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii. George was a barber for 22 years; he worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 99 for 27 years. He was a volleyball referee ILH, OIA, HGEA & Okinawan Leagues. Waianae High School Class of '59; he loved all sports especially volleyball. Dedicated to his family. Great sense of humor. Loved God and lived life to the fullest. He'll be forever in our hearts.
He is survived by wife, Lorna Kila; sisters, Nona Gouveia, Olga Ah Sing; sons, George (Gina) Kila, Jr, Jason Kila; daughters, Kirsten (Kaipo) Ng, Cenia Kila, Kristina Kila, Jade Kila, Kelsey Kila; hanai children, Mika Kila, Mackenzie Kila; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Sunday (October 3) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Burial 8:30 a.m. Monday (October 4) at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha Attire. Flowers Welcome.
