80Herbert Joseph Vierra Sr., 81, of Paia, Maui, a retired Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. truck driver, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. He was born in Paia. He is survived by wife Nora; sons Manuel, Herbert Jr., Vernon, Christopher, Joseph and Walter; brother Allen; sister Rosie Babaya; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Paia. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park, Wailuku.
