James Hiromi Hashimoto, 83, of Honolulu, a retired proprietor of Chaco's Japanese Steak House and an Air Force veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mieko, sons Michael and Ronald, daughter Renee Nakagawa and six grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
