71Jane Mieko Hirata, 89, of Pearl City, a former employee of Sumida Watercress Farm, died in Pearl City. She was born in Aiea. She is survived by son Jerry M., daughter Kay Bicoy, brothers Isami and Tadashi E. Ippongi, sisters Eleanor T. Niino and Sumie Nikaida, and four grandchildren. Private services.
