He was born in Waikiki. He is survived by wife C. Momi; former wives Marlene S.M. Ho and Dolores Ashimine; stepfather Merrill "Pops" Grubb; stepmother Josie; sons William K.N., John Alfred K.N.S. and Joseph William "Babes" K.N. Malina Jr., and Tony Jose; daughters Ann K.N. Tucker, Willie Sue K.N. Kedro, Jane M.S. Malina, Mokihana Salazar, Katherine Gatrost and Tiare Sua; brothers Bernard "Podgee" Malina, Derrick Grubb, Patrick Yuen and William K. Malina Jr.; sisters Leatrice Lum, Bessie Chong, Darlene Tamanaha and Denise ; 21 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel.
