Miriam Shizue Chiya, 95, of Honolulu, a retired government clerk at Fort Shafter, died at home. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by daughter Sharon Miyashiro, brothers Thomas and David Yano, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
