Stanley Burns Gouveia, 85, of Waimanalo, a retired heavy construction equipment foreman and Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Betty; daughters Peggy Taphouse, Jane Gouveia-Simpson, Tilda Gouveia, Sally Waller and Tori Leahy; sister Patricia Loesche; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grand- children.
