78Phetlavanh Phanphongsa, 55, of Hilo, a chef and owner of Ayuthaya Thai Restaurant, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Vientiane, Laos. He is survived by brothers Phounthong and Bounsouck, and sisters Chanday Vongsy, Khanthaly Sihavong, One Phommasith, Khamphone Gnony, Khankham P. Sparrow and Chanthone, Khanngeune and Khankeo Phanphongsa. Private services.
