David Wai Sing Yap, 79, of Huntington Beach, Calif., a retired aerospace electrical engineer and an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War, died in Huntington Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mildred C., sons Darrell Y.F. and Darren Y.K., daughter Kimberly M.L. Hopkins, sister Dr. Caroll W.O., and six grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers.
