"Paul" Akiyasu Matsumoto, 83, of Honolulu, a retired accountant at Fort Shafter and Schofield Barracks, and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Lance A. and Miles H., daughters Karen S. Sasaki and Merle M. Hamada, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
