layne Hajime Hiranaka, 71, of Honolulu, a retired ironworker for Associated Steel Workers Ltd. and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Lei, son Ryde, daughter Kari Kaneshiro, mother Fusako, sisters Laverne Tam and Verna Hiranaka, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services at noon. Casual attire. No flowers.
