79Francis Allan Kung Hung Maikai, 62, of Waianae, a roofer and fisherman, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Velma; sons Van-Daybryan and Francis "Buta" Kauwalu Jr.; daughters Victoria "Lia" Kauwalu, Chantell "Lovey" Keaunui and Jaylynne "JJ" Anderson; brother Fredrick Maikai; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lualualei Beach Park. Scattering of ashes to follow. Casual attire. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
