Sachio Taniguchi, 94, of Mililani, an Army veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was also a recipient of a Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by son Theodore; daughters LucyAnn and Kay Taniguchi, and Sandra Gaal-Oshiro; sister Chiyoko “Peggy” Nakamura; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Private services.
