FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Lorraine (Duro) Lum "Laura"
LORRAINE (DURO) LUM "LAURA" Lorraine "Laura" Lum moved on to new adventures on October 20 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Laura was born August 20, 1940 to parents Victor and Alice Duro. She grew up in Kapahulu with sisters Laverne Gabriel, Caroline DeMello, and Victoria "Missy" Duro and brothers Clayton, Clifford, and Dennis "Joby". She attended Kaimuki High School where she fell in love with Daniel Lum, whom she married. They were happily married for 52 years and raised four children: Gordon, Nathan "Bully", Jeffrey "Jim" and Danielle "Sis." She also was proud of her grandchildren: Gina Leslie, Nanea Lum, Kawehi Lum, Chivanna Hatchie, and Lokahikahonua Lum. She was often found at her children's and grandchildren's athletic, dramatic, artistic, and academic events. A firm believer in supporting children, she attended events for nephews and nieces, too. Her cheers of support will be missed. Before retiring she was a loyal and respected executive secretary at Grayline Hawaii and Outrigger Hotels. Lorraine passed quietly after a lengthy illness with her family at her side. Mahalo to the nurses and respiratory therapists at Pali Momi's ICU and to Dr. Kevin Hara for treating her with loving kindness and giving us three bonus years with her. Services Friday, November 18 at Kaumakapili Church. 5:30 visitation. 6:30 service.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
