Antone Mataiva "Tony" Taetuna, 31, of Milolii, Hawaii, a rock mason at Pu‘uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, a commercial fisherman, macadamia nut and coffee farmer, and landscaper, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by father Pule; mother Punipuao; hanai parents Gogo and Elizabeth; brothers Tui, Pule and Mataiva; and sisters Cynthia Baeza, Pearline Casuga, Michelle Fomai, Valentina Johnson, Theresa Taetuna, Emma Kahele-Taetuna, Rose Tuuga and Pinky Vole. Visitation and all-night vigil: 5 p.m. Friday at the family's residence, 89-1779 Milolii Road, Milolii. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Milolii. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
