'O KANA'IAUPUNI IWI'ULA
58 of Seattle, died November 10, 2011. Born in Honolulu, Aupuni attended Punahou and studied in Paris, France. He attended UW for his undergraduate and Master's Degree. Aupuni had a long career in health care administration. He also spent a large part of his life involved in local politics, which included running for the Seattle City Council. In 1992, Aupuni founded the KALAMA Foundation. His teachings on Hawaiian Culture, Spirituality, and Lomi Lomi touched many people. Puni held classes in Washington, Oregon, California, New York and Hawaii. He is survived by his wife Andrea Marie Leihoku Iwi'ula; daughter Gabrielle Kaleihuluoihilani Bo Yuk Iwi'ula; brothers Kalani Iwi'ula and Kevin Eleu Hosea; niece Clair Kapunahele Hosea.
