AIKO KAYASHIMA
Aiko Kayashima Kawasaki, 86 of Honolulu, died October 22, 2011, at home. She was born on December 14, 1924, in
Glendale, California.
She is the daughter of Tsurukichi and Tani (Oda) Kayashima. She was a Retired Office Manager for a dental office. Also, an active member of Central Union Church for over 50 years and with the Girl Scouts for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband Henry Kaoru; son, Ben (Mary); daughters, Pamela Vennen (Dennis), Deborah Hobbs (Ken), Marcy Kawasaki (Mark Morita), Margaret Kawasaki; brother, Benjamin Kayashima; sisters, Sally Otsuji, Christine Romero; grandchildren, Erin Perry, Amanda Morris, Anne Kawasaki, Martha Kawasaki, Valerie Kawasaki, Patrick Haines: Allison Haines, Katherine Haines, hanai grandson, Levi Jackola, Kevin Kawasaki; great grand-daughter, Madison Perry.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Private services were held.
