79Alec Sonny "Papa" Blackstad, 93, of Lawai, Kauai, a Hawaiian Tel telephone repairman, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Agnes; sons Michael, Ronald, Payne "Leo" and Gerald "Jack"; daughters Alexa Samio, Aleta Fu and Malia Freitas;brothers Robert, Joseph and Stanley; sisters Florance "Tootsie" Kajiwara and Elaine "Lei" Kaukani; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 hanai great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. No flowers.
