74Ruth Umeko Takaki, 94, of Honolulu, a retired Roberts Hawaii narrator, died in Maluhia Hospital. She was born in Puunene, Maui. She is survived by son Donald M.; daughters June M. Kawanishi, Florence S. Utsumi and Diane Y. Nishimura; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services.
