79Matthew Gaea Uti, also known as "John" and "Ioane," 53, of Waianae died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by sons John Uti-Mathias and Matthew Uki-Hauki; daughter Johnette Uti-Mathias; brothers Daniel S., Salu Jr. and Lauma S. Uti and Paulo Gaea; sisters Iutita Gaea, Lesina S.U. Bienaime, Ana S.U. Filipo, Christina S. Uti and Sofia S.U. Ta'ase; hanai brothers Siitia, Albert and Veni Gaea, and Norman Bartley; hanai sisters Katerina Ta'a and Cassandra Soa; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. Mililani Memorial Park. Flowers welcome.
