Stanley K. Yamashita, 70, of Honolulu, a copy editor at the former Honolulu Advertiser and an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Derral R. Herbst, brother Glenn T. and sisters Jennie T. Yamashita, Eleanor Y. Meyer and Marie Y. Yokamura.
