William James Moore, 81, of Kailua, a retired Navy commander and a Pacific Resources Inc. petroleum specialist, died in Honolulu. He was born in Wellsville, Ohio. He is survived by wife Verne, daughters Kimberly and Valerie, and sister Diane Wheelock. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
