JAMES EVERETT WATTS
JAMES EVERETT WATTS July 14, 2012 James E. Watts of Honolulu died peacefully at Hale Malamalama. He was born in Bakersfield, California on December 14, 1929 and a veteran of the Navy serving in the Korean War. He graduated from UCLA, married and worked at Alexander Grant Certified Public Accountants of Los Angeles, Ca. He transferred to Hawaii with the Company in 1958. He retired as managing partner in 1983 and continued to serve as a tax consultant with several local law firms until fully retiring in 2005. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Church and an advisor to the Catholic Diocesan Finance Committee. He is survived by his wife Lucile of 55 years, two sons, Joey and Daniel, two daughters, Marylee (Greg) Moore, Laurie (Kevin) McCrary and six grandchildren. He is predeceased by two brothers, John and Donald and survived by one brother, Roger, of California. Inurnment at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl on Monday, August 6th at 1 pm. Donations may be made to Catholic Charities Hawaii or Alzheimer's Association - Aloha Chapter.
