71Lanny Arruda Jr., 53, of Kalaoa, Hawaii, a Costco Wholesale truck driver, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Kaya Keanaaina-Arruda; sons Cody Kalima-Arruda, and David and Kamakani Arruda; hanai son Loren Freitas Jr.; hanai daughters Pualani and Iwalani-Marie Keanaaina; brothers Kingsley Sr., Larry Jr. and Herman Aweau; sisters Liena Kaaweamahi and Blossom Berry; a grandchild; and four hanai grandchildren. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Aug. 18 at Leleiwi Beach Park, Hilo. Casual attire. No flowers. Additional celebration of life: 11 a.m. Aug. 25 at Wawaoli Beach Park, OTEC Road, Kailua-Kona.
