Cary Coombs Thornton, 54, of Honolulu died in Honolulu. He was born in Salt Lake City. He is survived by sons Jared W.L. Thornton and Ikaika Bennett; daughters Tara Shook, Lori Miano and Lisa Grooms; mother Shirley Williams; brothers Scott, Kurt and Greg; sisters Chris Bills, Jill Sheldon and Joni Wesloh; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Flowers welcome.
