Domingo “Sonny” Lopes, 93, of Pearl City, a retired Honolulu Rapid Transit/MTL bus driver, died in Pearl City. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ellen Lopes; daughters Cynthia Simafranca, Aileen Shim and Dale Tanimoto; sisters Ethel Seguirant and Rachel Pacheco; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
