73Robert Myron "Bob" Smith Sr., 67, of Hilo, a retired County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation employee, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Worcester, Mass. He is survived by wife Maria; sons Chad, Robert Jr. and Shane; daughter Michele Ayala; brothers Howard Jr. and Jonathan; sisters Dorothy Glendenning, Lillian Woods, Doreen Ames and Nancy Pickard; hanai brother Richard Gallarde; hanai sisters Andrea Przybylinski, Sylvia Todd and Gigi Siliado; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Haili Church. Services: 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
