Shigeru Monguchi, 89, of Ewa Beach, a retired Hawaii Public Housing Authority maintenance employee for the state of Hawaii and an Army veteran who served in Company C, 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, died. He was born in Honohina-North Hilo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Betty S.; son Robert S.; daughters Diane E. and Lori T. Aiwohi, Dawn S. Tamanaha and Dana S. Abe; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 5 p.m. Sunday at Ka Hale Hoano o ke Akua, 1760 Nalani St. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
