GWENDOLYN LO SANDERS
Greensboro NC: Gwendolyn Lo Sanders, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2012 with family by her side after battling cancer.
Known for her humility, wit, selflessness, and remarkable inner strength, she was an inspiration in the way she lead her life.
She is survived by her children Susie Altizer (Ron), Scott Sanders (Michelle), and Kristie Altvater (Mark).
A loving Mamaw, Gwen will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Lindsey Altvater (Laura St. Cyr), Erin Altvater, and Leland Sanders.
A family visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Street Chapel
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gwen may be made to the Brenner Children's Hospital, PO Box 571021, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel is assisting the family.
