Hannah was born in Hilo and lived on Hawaii and Oahu. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1932 and attended UH. Dick was born in Lahaina and lived in Hilo and on Oahu. He graduated from Leilehua High School in 1933 and attended UH. They moved to California where Dick attended the University of Southern California, earning BS, MA and PhD degrees in Education. Preceded in death by their daughter Ann Hornney, the couple is survived by their daughter Maile Hill; grandchildren Kim Marcel, Tara Morgan, Greg Hill, and Scott Hornney; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Oahu Cemetery at 11:00 am, Monday, August 20, 2012
