JACK "HONDUKE" CHINGJACK "HONDUKE" CHING
Age 93, of Mililani, HI, passed away July 24, 2012 in Mililani. Born August 22, 1918 in Honolulu, HI. A legendary Harley Davidson motorcycle racer, #99 at Ewa Beach Cane Fields, Honolulu Stadium, Waimanalo, Kahuku Airstrip, and Hawaii Raceway Park. Also a founding member of the oldest "Oahu Motorcycle Club (OMC)".
A retired Operating Engineers Local 3 member and was a union top graderman who was famous for his work.
He is survived by sons; Jack Ching, Jr., Lawrence (Teri) Ching; daughters, Merlyn Ching Silva, JoAnn (Donald) Sato, Karen (Bryan Lindberg) Paty; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Willie (Ida) Ching; sisters, Violet Chew, Eleanor Lung.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (August 22) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 7:00 p.m. Visitation also 9:30 a.m. Thursday (August 23) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire.
