JOSLYN LEIALOHA BERNARD
Passed away on Aug. 8, 2012 at the age of 59, lovingly surrounded by her family at Pali Momi Medical Cntr. She was a '71 grad of the Kamehameha Schools. She returned to her alma mater in 1989 to work in the unit 9 and 10 office as an office clerk after many years of working for Industrial Indemnity Ins. She would have been married 41 yrs. on Aug. 13 to John Pua Bernard Jr. Together they had one daughter, Joelle Ku'uleinani Branch, and one grandson, Monroe Kamaha'o Branch. She is also survived by her mother Mabel K. Kamahele, sisters Momi Kamahele, Leina'ala Mason (Larry), Kelley Heiaukulani (Charlie), Pamela Soo (Wendell) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on August 26, 2012 at the Kamehameha Schools Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm with a service to follow at 1pm. Casual aloha attire.
