Al Beralas
Aug. 21, 2012 Al Beralas, 89, of Lihue, a retired Lihue Sugar Plantation tractor driver and an Army veteran who served in the 1st Filipino Infantry Regiment during World War II, died at home. He was born in Bagued, Abra, Philippines. He is survived by sons Allan and Ronald; daughters Ginger Soboleski, Yolanda Yacavone and Debra DeGracia; brother Domingo; sisters Maggie Galardo and Monica Ragudo; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
