72Jane Genevieve Mendes, 84, of Kahakuloa, Maui, a retired school bus driver, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by sons Ernest Jr., James, Manuel "Curly," Allan and Melvin; daughters Catherine Cordeiro and Irene Rodrigues; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
