Dr. Chalmers Ken Hamasaki, 75, of Hilo, an ear, nose and throat specialist and an Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Elaine E., brothers Roland and Ernest, and sisters Dahlia Hamada, Ruby Shintani and Thelma Yasuhara. Private services. No monetary offerings.
