RUDOLPH CHARLES COCKETT
RUDOLPH CHARLES COCKETT Rudolph "Rudy" Cockett, 93, a retired Public Accountant, died peacefully at his East Oahu home this past August. Born in Honolulu, Rudy graduated in 1937 from Roosevelt High School and earned his degree in Accounting from the Honolulu Business College. Throughout his career, he earned a life membership in the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants (H.A.P.A.) and the National Association of Public Accountants (N.A.P.A.). Rudy served as President of H.A.P.A. in 1967. Rudy was also a life member of the Mystic Lodge #2, Knights of Pythias where he attained the rank of Past Chancellor. He held the Financial Secretary position for 35 years and Trustee for 10 years. He was a dedicated father, husband and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Evensen Cockett, a daughter Bonnie M. Cockett of Nebraska, 2 grandchildren, Michael "Keoki" Spain (Samantha) of Honolulu and Malia Pedro of Nebraska and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Oahu Cemetery on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00am. Casual/aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
