ANTHONY "TONY" LEONIDA
62, of Honolulu, a self employed aquarium specialist doing business as Coral Greens, died August 14, 2012 in Kuakini Medical Center. Born on November 21, 1949 in Honolulu. He attended St. Anthony's School and graduated from Damien High School. He earned a BA Degree in Sociology from the University of Hawaii. Tony was an active member of the First Christian Church of Honolulu (Disciples of Christ), where he served as a Greeter and Elder. He was a member of the Honolulu Men's Chorus Group and a former member of Ke Anuenue O Ke Aloha Church.
Survived by brothers, Dr. Domingo (Madalene) Leonida, M.D., Joseph (Sally) Leonida; sisters, Aurora Los Banos, Laura (Harry) Seibert, Maria (Martin) Inocelda; nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his mother and father Fernando and Fortunata Leonida and sister, Elena Leonida
Visitation at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary East Chapel; memorial services at 6 p.m. Flowers welcome. Casual attire. Scattering of ashes at a later date.
