LYNN KIYOMI PUAMAEOLE OKIMOTO
Passed away on August 13th in Straub Clinic and Hospital at the age of 46 surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in Pauoa Valley, Oahu. She was a 1984 graduate of Roosevelt High School. Lynn worked as a Billing Supervisor at Hawaii Pathologists Laboratory; previously she worked at Diagnostic Laboratory and The Queen's Medical Center. She was a very caring, loving, and selfless sister, mother, aunty, cousin, and friend. Lynn was such a happy go lucky person very easy going always saying "no worry I get um" or "what's the big deal?" She loved to eat, go to the beach, and shopping but most of all she loved to travel! And boy did she travel! Lynn had such a generous heart she was always helping everyone putting her own needs aside. We love and miss her so much...we will treasure our memories of her always! Lynn is survived by her son: Ikaika S.M. Okimoto brother: Wendell C.K. Okimoto, Sisters: Suzanne M.M. (Cookie) Okimoto, Wendy U.T. Okimoto and Colleen K.K. Kotani. Hanai mom Marion-Louise Machado and many nieces and nephews.
Please join us in Celebrating her life on Saturday, September 15th at Nuuanu Morturary East Chapel. Visitation at 10:00am Service to follow at 11:00am. Scattering of ashes at Waimea Bay will be done at a later date.
