Passed away peacefully at home in Santa Rosa August 25, 2012 5:30 a.m., surrounded by her son 3D-Edddy Born and his wife Nassu, Grand-sons Mica Born and Wesley Malatino and her Great Grand children Ava and Thelonious Born.
Grand children Cody, Tim, Jessica and Kimberly Sutton, Patrick Vargas, and great grand children Mckenzie Sutton, Skyler Lee and Cameron Cason survive Elaine.
Elaine will be laid to rest with her husband, Aurthur Born and son Birl Michael Born at Golden Gate Fields National Cemetery Sept 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Come and share your stories about Elaine.
Elaine, 3rd daughter of Gertrude McInerny, was born in San Francisco May 26, 1921 then returned to Honolulu, Hawaii to live with her family. Later she returned to the main land and graduated from Balboa High School and completed 1 year of business school. She married Arthur Born and began her career at New York Life.
She loved riding horses and was a member of the Marin Mounted Sheriff's Posse and is a lifetime member of the Novato Horsemen. She moved to Santa Rosa in 1990 to live with her son, 3D-Edddy Born and became a prolific and talented stained glass artist.
We all loved her deeply and she will be missed.
