Mitsuo Nozaki, 89, of Hanapepe, Kauai, a retired carpenter and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Battalion Headquarters Company, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hanapepe. He is survived by wife Irene; sons Paul, Sidney and Lyle; daughter Nancy; sister Hannah; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 1 p.m. Saturday at Hanapepe United Church of Christ. Services: 2 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
