74Takumi Shirakawa, 89, of Waiohinu, Hawaii, a retired University of Hawaii extension agent, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waiohinu. He is survived by wife Lenore; son Ray; daughters Patti Shirakawa and Faye Korenaga; sisters Kayono Koike, Nancy Yokota and Sumie Hamamoto; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m. No monetary offerings.
