WALTER A.F. ENRIQUEZ
Founder of Na Imi Kupale Iho (Kajukenbo Karate) in Waianae, passed on Sept. 3, 2012. Born Aug. 30, 1948, a retired member of Hawaii Carpenters Union, he was active in the community founding his Martial Arts School, Teaching in Leeward DOE Schools, Boy Scout Troop 162 and a AYSO Coach. Survived by Wife-Gloria Enriquez, Sons- Walter Enriquez, Jr. & David Enriquez (Vennessa Bassette-Keohuhu) and Grandaughter JessicaDale Bassette-Enriquez. Sisters- Annie Enriquez & Shirley (Larry) Nagasawa; and, many nephews, & nieces. Services on Sat., Sept. 29 at Mililani Memorial Mauka. Visitation 6pm Service 7pm. Casual Attire or Martial Arts Gi and Belt are welcome.
