80Alvin Kaulawailani "Al" Kaai, 55, of Hilo, a state Department of Transporation Airports Division general maintenance supervisor, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in North Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Marcie, son Jonah Kahikina, daughters Michelle Polido and Malynda Kahikina, mother Violet, sister Leilani and six grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Crossnet Ministries City of Joy Christian Fellowship, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
