Augustine "Sonny"Ferreira, 85, of Hilo, a Hilo Coast Processing Co. retiree and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Allen, Gordon, Jaime andRilan; daughter Wendy Lee; brother Joseph; sistersAlice Yoshida and Beatrice Jarneski; 17 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass:10:30 a.m. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
