Wayne Louis Hoppe, 77, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired heavy-equipment mechanic and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Harlem, Mont. He is survived by wife Susan, sons Jerry Lane and Guy Sutherland, daughters Kristy Hoppe and Terri Peterson, hanai son Bryan Luker, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
