Lyle Earl VanDerWerff, 86, of Kailua, a U.S. Postal Service carrier and a Navy veteran, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Ponca, Neb. He is survived by wife Sara, stepson Kevin Elliott, stepdaughter Karen Rocco, sister Norma Jean Fingarson and five grandchildren. Private services.
