Eduardo Silva Rodriguez, 81, also known as "Ed," "Pops" and "Vida," of Kailua, San Francisco and Fresno, Calif., a retired Bank of America foreign affairs representative and a travel agent, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Lima, Peru. He is survived by wife Helen; son Edmund; stepsons Jackson, Marvin and Stanley "Miko" Lakatani; stepdaughters Harriett Lakatani-Taito and Ijeva Lakatani-Matavale; brother Ernesto Silva-Rodriguez; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. today at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Aloha attire.
